Ice slide ~Sketchy Thursdays layout

Here's the sketch from Sketchy Thursdays I started with...

And here's the layout I ended up with...

I really need to figure out how to get good photos outside when it's snowy and glarey...  I tried playing with my camera settings and I thought I had them looking not too bad, but after staring at them for a couple hours yesterday I realize they still have a greyish cast to them.  Better than the bluish cast I used to get, but still not great.

The papers are all the new Little Yellow Bicycle that just arrived at Unforgettable Memories. I love the coordinating acrylic frames.  The one on the left is an arrow ~ My scanner cut off some of the tip.

I'm going to have to check back and see if Lynette got in the snowboarding stickers that go with this line.  Seeing as how I'm a snowboarder now.  Sort of.  Daniel and I spent Sunday afternoon at Big Bam and I tried my board (I got it through the Buy 'n Sell) on the bunny hill.  I only went down 5 times all together but big improvement between the first run and the last run.  The first run I went down backwards dragging my mitts in the snow to slow me down, with my butt in the air.  By the last run I was going forwards, VERY slowely, and standing upright.  Only tumbled twice on that last run.  Not bad for an old girl, eh?  A few more times and we'll take the camera along with us.

Back to my layout ~ I punched a whole bunch of snowflakes with my two large sized punches and my one medium sized punch. I also punched a few 1/2" circles and layered them.  They're held together with clear bling brads.  I continued with more round shapes by adding bling circles and a few metal embellishments I have had in my stash forever!
