Our new entry way decprated for Halloween.

More Halloween

It's that time of year and Halloween are the papers Lynette at Unforgettable Memories has given me to work with.
The papers are Bobunny exceept for the orange and black diamond at the very top of the page. That's Little Yellow Bicycle.
I inked and distressed everything. And sprayed the background with 'soot' Glimmer Mist.
I love the Prima felt scrolls sticking out from under the top torn papers. I embellished it with Kaiser jewels.

Halloween layouts

My sister sent me some Halloween photos from past years so I've been scrapping them. I love how this page turned out. I sprayed with green Maya Mist and my own orange mini mister, over the big scrolly Tim Holtz mask.
I matted my photos on white cardstock. The edges are distressed and inked. And I used my new 'swiss cheese holey' punch right on the photos. Then I set a few orange eyelets into the medium sized holes; it's been ages since I used eyelets.
The photos are grounded with a couple of strips of Little Yellow Bicycle pp and a piece of MM green dotty tape.
Next I layered the 'One Spooky Night' transparency. It's 12 x 12 with bats up one side, grey scrolls & diamonds, and ric rac around the edges.
On top of that I placed a couple of sticker tiles, some Prima flowers with star bling centers and lengths of MM's orange star trim. I wanted something more so I tore some thin(1/2 ") strips of black paper, folded them in half to cover the white backs and then folded them in scrolls around the star trim.

Finished

I've been working my way through a Jessica Sprague online digital photo editing course. It's slow going as she uses Adobe and I have Corel at work. I can do all the same things, but sometimes it takes a while to find where Corel puts the commands. I did my journaling right on the large picture of Tikanii and also added some texture and a frame to the photo itself.
The papers are all Little Yellow Bicycle. I've embellished with Prima flowers, Maya Rd felt birds, Pink Paislee chipboard, some fun wood scrolls and a couple EK Success epoxy 'pet' stickers I've had forever.

Some cards...

Because I haven't had any time to scrapbook lately. Though I'm almost finished a double page layout using Little Yellow Bicycle papers. I made this birthday card with the scraps from my soon to be completed layout.

Then I started playing with scraps from my Basic Grey 'Wisteria' pages.

And to use up every last little piece of patterned paper I pulled out my butterfly punch.

World Card Making day

I was busy making cards this weekend with the ladies at ScrapCentral. I had a few baby cards to make (everyone seems to be having babies at work, this year)so I did the baby card challenges.

I created a couple of Friends cards with my 'misted' cardstock. My challenge to the ladies was to use one of the mists on the market or to make their own ~ and I provided a tutorial on making ink mists like Glimmer Mist and Maya Mist using ink refillers and Perfect Pearls.

Little Yellow Bicycle

I've been playing with product from LYB for the past week and have finished a couple of layouts.

I like the feel of the paper. It's a heavier weight paper with a finish on it which stands up well to spraying with ink mists. I like to spray :)
