National Scrapbooking Day is next weekend...

And I signed up for an NSD swap. My partner doesn't know who she is so even if she checks out my blog she won't know that the following Altered Item is for her. I used more of my ScrapCentral April kit. Just love that Fancy Pants paper and stamps.
I hope she loves it! Because I sure do. I'm making myself one as soon as I pick up another canvas. It can sit on a flat surface with a plate holder of hang on the wall. The photo matte will fit a 5x7 photo and there are two tags for journaling, more pics...

Cards, cards, and more cards...

Breanna and I pulled out the alcohol inks yesterday, along with the white embossing powder and some of our favourite stamps. We started by stamping our images onto glossy cardstock. After the white embossing powder had cooled, we swiped the alcohol ink over the entire cardstock surface. The image popped through very prettily.

Then we decided to do the alcohol ink backgrounds first and emboss the image on last.

The chipboard scroll and heart are a RAK from a scrapping friend. Thanx Jillian!

Last week I got my first kit from www.scrapcentral.ca
It was a box full of beautiful Fancy Pants patterned paper, Coordinating ribbon and flowers, a set of gorgeous Fancy Pants acrylic stamps, and a couple sheets of diecut chipboard. I finished 3 layouts over the weekend. Still have lots of product to work with.

I love these pictures of Breanna snuggling with her Daddy.
And this layout shows Breanna with the loot she scored off her brother at the fairgrounds last summer. Aren't the patterns beautiful?
The last one is photos of the boys with their activity walkers more than 10 yrs ago now.

My CJ has left the building...

It is on it's way to the first CJ player, Martina. I can't wait to see the page she does for my book.

Here's my page. My Christmas tradition is baking Almond Roca every year. Yummy!

Christmas Traditions Circle Journal.

I'm so excited! I've signed up for another CJ. My 3rd.

I bought a pretty 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 K&Co album in Winners recently. So my topic is going to be "Christmas Traditions". The album came with some gorgeous Christmas PP so I just had to search through my stash for some coordinating embellies. The flowers are by Scrapbook Sally ( A Canadian Company )
I worked on the Intro page and the Sign In pages today. I also finished off my tag. Now I just have to do a layout on our Xmas Traditions and it'll be ready to mail off.
I'm going to mail if off with the rest of the matching PP and some other miscellaneous Christmas embellishments though it's not required that the other players use the coordinating product. I want to see pages with lots of different styles and creativity when I get my album back again!
