Saturday Duncan put (almost) all his mice in to a Dilly Bar box and we took them down to the pet store. Rick and Duncan had bought 6 adult mice a couple months ago and we were returning over 40! So there were a few more than when we started.
Duncan decided to keep the one male as a pet (a smelly one). And there was one white mouse running loose; an escapee from a couple weeks ago. We'd see him dash across the rumpus room floor while watching tv every now and then, but no-one had managed to catch him yet.
Last night Whitey was finally caught. We dropped him in with the male but he attacked him and started protecting his territory immediately. So Whitey has his own cage now. We're hoping that means Whitey is a male and there is NO chance of babies.

CraftersWorkshop.com
I was in my LSS the other day and there were all these new stencil/templates by Crafters Workshop. I got the 'Circle Circle Dot Dot' sheet. The boss lady wanted to put some 'how-to' layouts together for them so this is what I came up with.
For this one I used the circle template to cut the pp.
Paper is all Kelly Panacci for Sandy Lion. Chatterbox rub-ons. MM ribbons. Bazzill big flowers and flower brads. Prima flowers. Eyelets set with my new Crop-a-dile. I can't believe I waited so long to buy this. It is so easy to use. And quiet. And hassel free. You need one!
I had fun with the pencil crayons on this one.

BamPop!
A couple weeks ago I participated in an online chat with the artists of BamPop. It was kind of funny actually. I set my timer so I wouldn't miss it, but got the time zone wrong and ended up signing in 5 minutes before the end of the chat instead of 5 minutes early. I got a couple of posts in and in one of them I mentioned that I was a Canadian scrapbooker. BamPop sent me a prize package for being the first Canadian on the chat. I got some fun patterned papers and a set of acrylic stamps (2 parachuting robots and a little space bird)Today I spent a couple hours playing with the stamps and made a few simple cards.
The 'HI' is done with Creative Imaginations foam stamps.

National Scrapbooking Day is this weekend...
And there has been loads going on over at ScrapCentral.com
I also participated in the Mother's Day challenge. Breanna and I created a gift and card for both Grandma's this weekend. But I'm not uploading it till next weekend because I know my Mum checks out my blog ;)
We have had a lot of fun playing games and entering challenges. I've spent more time chatting than scrapping, but I did get one layout done for the Spring photo challenge. Nothing is blooming way up North here yet, but I was in Victoria early March and my parents took me out to Butchart Gardens. I scrapped the pics I took that day...
More experimenting...
I made some more cards this weekend for a challenge I ran at Scrap Central. The challenge was to try a new technique that you'd been wanting to do, but hadn't gotten around to yet. I pulled out the inks and one of my Club Scrap stamps and started playing.
- Stamp the image on white paper with black ink.
- Using different colours of dye ink create a multi-coloured background.
- That's it. Easy peasy :)
Here are a couple of the cards I made using my first experiments...
