The games we play.

The journaling reads...
Us Lewalls have always enjoyed a rowdy game of cards. We are capable of turning Solitaire into a boisterous family affair. The cards and score sheet appear before dessert has been cleared from the table. The game of choice lately has been 'Oh hell' where we play for tricks, or not, depending on our bets. And if we lose we try to make the other players lose more.

The papers are all Prima 'Mommy & Me' line. I love the coordinating rub-ons. Those little animals are too cute! Chipboard is Pebbles.

Branching out

I was blogging hop at work last week(it's been very slow) and found this tutorial on the Marks Paper Company blog. I can always use more jewellery. So off I rushed to the scrapbook store on my lunch hour. I picked up a package of Tim Holtz's fragments and some jewellry findings at Wal-mart and I was set.
When I got home I quickly finished up the layout I was working on and then used the scraps of patterned paper to make my earrings and necklace.

Jillibean Soup

Look what came in the mail for me yesterday...
All these goodies were a giveaway on the Jillibean Soup blog. I posted a comment and I won! There are so many great paper designs in my package. I especially love the kraft papers. But I didn't just get papers. There are Alphabeans (letter stickers), Bean Stalks (ribbon), Bean Seeds (felt diecuts) and a whole bunch of great little Journaling Sprouts. I had to dig in and start playing right away. This is what I worked on last night during the ads while watching 'Lie to Me' and 'LOST'.

I used a couple of Heidi Swap leaf masks and Glimmer Mist on the background.
