So instead of mending I sewed paper. I stitched a border around the edges of the page, then I stitched the green piece to the page, and I stitched the journaling spot down.
Tonight I'll do the mending.

In stitches
I pulled out the sewing machine last night because Breanna had some pants that needed mending. I immediately noticed the machine was threaded with a spool that was the same pinky peach colour as the hue in the Cosmo Cricket paper scraps I was using on the layout I was working on in my newly cleaned scraproom.
So instead of mending I sewed paper. I stitched a border around the edges of the page, then I stitched the green piece to the page, and I stitched the journaling spot down.
Tonight I'll do the mending.
